Trim Repair

Previous contractor left a mess. The patio door installers had to re-frame the opening, and had installed the 2-by4's crookedly, so naturally the drywall was crooked. We cleaned it up and fixed it.

Measured the distance and made left and right templates. Confirmed with the owner about the wood choices (in this case, straight grain fir) and got approval.

Brought the materials and tools to the site, cut to size and test fit. Reamed out where the screws holding the patio door were poking out. Nailed in the wood, sanded the entire unit to eliminate machining marks.

Put 2 quick coats of Varithane. Cleaned and vacuumed.
